carl now has sixteen years of songwriting under his thirty-one year old belt, and is hungrier than ever for some serious success.

2007 saw him have his first cut on a major label with siobhan donaghy’s album ghosts.  ‘There’s a place’ has emerged as one of the people’s favourites on the album and has appeared on ‘the word’ magazine’s ‘best of 2007’ cover cd.

That experience very nearly beat the natural high of ‘southampton boys’.  The co-written, co-produced, co-performed novelty football record of 2003.  after selling the single out the back of his car (more or less), the single peaked at number 16, and would have been higher if tesco didn’t read the barcode as being bananas (seriously).
